Ski on the best slopes in the center of Carinthia

A wonderful panorama view, 60 km of slopes, 12 well-kept ski huts and the Gerlitzen ski and snowboard school await you on the largest ski mountain in the Villach region, the Gerlitzen Alpe. 25 ski runs from blue to black offer beginners and professionals the perfect downhill runs at 1,000-1,911 meters altitude.

Dreiländereck is a small, fine family ski resort with 17 kilometers of slopes at an altitude of 680-1,600 meters at the summit crossroads, where Austria, Italy and Slovenia meet. In a few minutes you can reach the lift "3-Länder-Jet" with its weather protected gondolas as the starting point of your skiing pleasure. Furthermore, there are 7 drag lifts available. 110 km of perfectly groomed slopes at 610-2,020 meters above sea level offer plenty of sunny space for skiers' dreams in one of Austria's top 10 ski areas. 30 modern lifts and cable cars take you to the ski paradise with its 11 black, 69 red and 30 blue slope kilometers and 4 children's training areas, floodlit slopes, freeride and fun areas, snow park and ski movie race track.

On tour with your skis in Carinthia

The region also has a lot to offer ski tourers: On Alpe Gerlitzen, for example, there is a specially prepared slope strip for ski tourers. From Baumgartenhöhe - only 4 km from the Karglhof - you can go on wonderful ski tours, for example to the Gamsstand or the Schwarzkogel at 1,841 m. A unique ski touring area is the Dobratsch Nature Park, in which, among other things, guided ski tours on the tens and ski touring trial courses are offered. The nature park shuttle bus takes you there 3 times a week from Villach.

Cross country- The gentle way to ski in Carinthia

Numerous cross-country trails of all levels of difficulty, in valleys and altitudes, invite you to explore the varied snow-covered winter world of the Villach region by gliding - for parallel runners as well as for skaters. The beautifully sunny trail nearest to the Karglhof is the 10 km long Karawanken trail next to the grounds of the Alpen Adria Panorama golf course in Finkenstein. The Schönleitn panorama trail (approx. 1.3 km away) and the Dobratsch Nature Park with its demanding network of trails at 1,732 meters above sea level is a real Eldorado for cross-country skiers. Athletically ambitious athletes train on the race track in the Nordic skiing center Villacher Alpenarena.
