All Karglhof apartments at Lake Faaker See, whether in the main building, the villa or in the lake bungalows, have been newly renovated or newly built and are of such high quality that we have moved up from the 3-star classification to the 4-star category. You will enjoy a modern ambience with a feel-good factor. In furnishing our new main house, we have placed the greatest value on natural materials from the
region. Most of the furniture was made by our carpenter out of wild oak. The genuine leather couches and seating groups in the living/bedrooms and dining areas are high-quality eye-catchers. For the sake of the environment, we converted the energy supply of the Karglhof main house to a biomass wood-chip heating plant and built one of the most modern wood chip plants (Guntamatic powerchip) in Carinthia.

In the 110 m² apartment "Blumenwiese - App. "1" in the villa there are wheelchair-accessible bathrooms and toilets. The two suites in the main building were also built barrier-free and an elevator in the main building facilitates access to the 3rd floor and to the washroom in the basement. We can also recommend our sea bungalows at ground level to people with limited mobility.
Allergy sufferers:
Allergy sufferers feel at ease in the carpet-free, allergy-friendly Karglhof apartments.
Balcony / Terrace:
All Karglhof holiday apartments have either a balcony or a terrace where you can enjoy the peace and the sun of Carinthia. Size and orientation vary by category.
Baths:
In all 3 holiday homes, the bathrooms are bright and stylishly furnished with modern comfort. Hair dryer and towels are available.
Beach:
A private beach on Lake Faaker See is one of the Karglhof amenities - idyllic hedges and partly surrounded by reeds, with romantic trees and a gently sloping sandy beach. Loungers, benches and tables, changing room and sanitary facilities (one of them barrier-free) are available. For the guests of our lake bungalows, there is a second beach. A large lawn, sandy beach and the fantastic proximity of only 150-200 m to the lake bungalows make it particularly attractive for bathing enthusiasts and water sports enthusiasts.
Beds:
In the holiday apartments / apartments with living/bedroom and a separate bedroom, it's easy to make a bed in the living area. You don't have to move any furnishings, fold out a bed bench or remove your bed linen in the morning. You simply fold down the bed from the living room wall onto the couch. Children / Playing facilities:
We can equip your apartment with a cot, high chair, baby monitor, baby bath and changing mat. Children love the adventures in the garden of the main house. Also in the garden of the villa and the lake bungalows, there are play possibilities such as sandbox, table tennis and more...
Clothes / Laundry:
Towels & bed linen are part of the basic equipment at Karglhof and can also be changed on request. In the main house and in the villa you will find a laundry room – with washing machine and ironing board / iron (clothesline in the apartments).
Fireplace:
If you love the cosy warmth of a tiled stove or the crackling fire of a fireplace in winter, then Karglhof a lake bungalow is the right place for you.
Grill:
In the garden of all three Karglhof holiday homes there is a barbecue at your disposal. A campfire site is located at the the main house.

Our kitchens are living kitchens and fully equipped with electric cooker with extractor fan and oven or hot air cooker, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, crockery, table and kitchen linen.
Leisure time:
You will find safe storage facilities for your bicycles and skis in the head office and in the villa. For your boat or surfboard we can lend you a chain with bow lock free of charge and you can borrow a toboggan from us for your winter fun. Board games are available for you, and there is also an air hockey room, table tennis tables and many opportunities for children to play.
